Discipleship is more than a printed program; it is a
lifelong process of helping another person accept Christ’s Lordship over their
lives by walking with them through key experiences. Someone might ask, “How can
you disciple someone in the course of just a few days?” Good question to be
sure. Yet, we are hopeful that this trip will open the doors for long-term
partnerships that result in life-long discipleship relationships. If Paul’s
expectation was to convert someone to Christ in just a short time, his
expectation of their discipleship was just as urgent (Acts 26:28).

Those we meet who don’t know Christ might accept
Him
·
Those we befriend will become long-distance
partners in the Gospel
·
Those we begin discipling this week will find in
us a life-long help in their Christian walk
