God’s Presence?
Deut. 4:1-14
I.
We Experience God’s Presence When We Recite His Word
“Listen
to the statutes and the judgments” (vs. 1)
“You
shall not add to the word… nor take away from it…” (vs. 2)
II.
We Express God’s Presence When We Recount His Works
“Your
eyes have seen what the Lord has done” (vs. 3)
“See,
I have taught you…” (vs. 5)
“your
wisdom…in the sight of the peoples…” (vs. 6)
III.
We Extend God’s Presence When We Instruct His Children
“Don’t
forget what your eyes have seen…make them known to your sons and your
grandsons” (vs. 9)
“that
they may teach their children” (vs. 10)
IV.
We Exercise God’s Presence When We Identify His
Covenant
“The
Lord spoke to you” (vs. 12)
“He
declared to you His covenant” (vs. 13)
“He wrote
them” (vs 13)
