What a February!

February was a fabulous month of connecting with Georgia Baptist churches & ministers as well as making plans for upcoming ministry throughout Georgia. On Feb. 7-8, I connected in Norman Park with Georgia's Associational Missionaries serving throughout the state; it was a time of fellowship and training in workshops. On Feb. 9, I had a great time with the Laurens Baptist Association Women on Mission in Dublin. The banquet was a First Baptist Dublin's Family Life Center, and it was terrific! Then on Feb. 10, we celebrated with the Dodge Baptist Association's Women on Mission in Eastman, another great event, and I had a good time connecting with friend & missionary colleague Derek Johns. The month was filled with planning meetings with various teams related to Cooperative Program and Missions! On Feb. 26, I had the privilege of preaching at Union Baptist Church in Griffin to help them celebrate their "Season of Giving" for missions. On the 28th, I was blessed by great preaching and fellowship at the 2012 Evangelism Conference in Valdosta, and then a great listening session on the 29th on the 5 Smooth Stones at First Newark Baptist in Thomasville. By the way, the music at the Evanglism Conference was awesome. God really has His hand on the Akins.
