James 4:6-10

I.                    Positional/Directional Changes in Repentance (vs. 7-8)

“Submit” – Yield – To God

“Resist” – Stop – Devil

“Draw Near” – Go – To God

II.                    Practical/Moral Changes in Repentance (vs. 8)

“Cleanse your hands” – from sin (sins)

“Purify your hearts” – from double-mindedness (doubts)

III.                    Emotional Changes in Repentance (vs. 9)

"Miserable”, “Mourning”, “Weep”, “Gloom”
